Aya Konishi opened the atelier after years of textile study in Tokushima and Tokyo. It remains intentionally small: four sunken vats, long tables for folding, and enough room for cloth to breathe.
Every object passes through the same hands from preparation to final rinse. This scale keeps the evidence of making intact.

and listened to.
Our indigo is fermented rather than dissolved. Temperature, weather, and daily care shape its strength. The vat is a collaborator with its own pace.
Repetition is not sameness. It is how we learn to see smaller differences.
